Atlanta Community Board, Member Programming Chair Candidate

Meet Taylor.

Taylor Staggers is an entrepreneur, creative director, and dog mom with multi-industry experience in creative strategy, partnerships, and event activation. She has a passion for people and building relationships. As the founder of Handberry Creative, a full-service creative agency, and HC Creative /hous/, a creative studio in Grant Park, Taylor has had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with some of the most talented creatives in Atlanta and beyond.

Though she’s produced creative strategy and events for notable brands such as TV One, The Shade Room, Bloomberg News, and the NBA, her most fulfilling reward comes from her projects that have aided small businesses and non-profits. Using her talents to uplift the community, in 2020, Taylor launched the It’s Not Business as Usual (INBAU) campaign. INBAU challenged businesses to analyze their internal practices and find ways to make their institution and industries more equitable and inclusive for the Black community. Due to this work, she received a fellowship and grant from Advertisers for Change.

Taylor values community service and often volunteers with beautification projects around the city and as a bible study teacher at Zion Baptist Church.

Taylor currently serves as Marketing Director for Centennial Yards, a 50-acre, $5 billion development in Downtown Atlanta, and is a member of the Council for Quality Growth’s Emerging Leaders Initiative.

Taylor also holds the position of resident event planner for her family and friends, and in her free time, she enjoys brunch, watching Netflix, and spending time with her husband, Elijah.
