Atlanta Community Board, General Body Candidate

Meet Ray.

A native of Atlanta, GA and Alumnus of Morehouse College, Ray Hill, Member of The Atlanta Gathering Spot Foundation will be seeking candidacy in our 2023 Community Board as a General Board Member.

The personal commitment Ray holds as a candidate, is to ensure curation of initiatives across each TGS foundation to advocate for the collective voices held in our gatherings to best support our members throughout their membership experience from impactful programming, leadership collaboration, inclusion, and membership satisfaction.

Within our TGS community Ray serves as the host for our TGS Introvert Circle where he has gathered with our members to create a space to discuss the dynamics of introversion, extraversion in professional and social interactions and while also receiving a feature on our TGS Connect Series where he has advocated for mental health and wellbeing as a panelist.

Professionally, Ray serves as a Dean at Morehouse College where he works in conjunction with the Department of Student Services curating collegiate based initiatives for the Atlanta University Consortium (AUCC) with primary focus on building community engagement.

Academically, Ray holds an extensive study in the field of Psychology where he has studied the connection of artistic expressions on psychological wellbeing in his matriculation from Georgia State University, Morehouse College and the University of West Georgia.

A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Secretary of The Alumni Network Council for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Ray continues in his professional and social endeavors to advocate for the collective voices within community.
