DID YOU KNOW?
It’s estimated that only 8% of restaurants are Black-owned. In a city where Black culture and heritage have influenced everything, it is important to make sure the Black restauranteurs have the tools, resources, and support to grow and scale their businesses.
To support Black-owned restaurants in the city, The Gathering Spot, EatOkra, and PMM agency teamed up with Uber to host a fellowship for Atlanta’s most promising new Black restauranteurs.
Let’s get cooking.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE TOP 20 BLACK-OWNED RESTAURANTS
In partnership with UberEats and EatOkra, 20 Black restaurants will be selected to join the Eats Fellowship. This group will represent rising stars in Atlanta’s culinary industry.
Over the course of an intentional 3-month program, fellows will benefit from industry workshops, industry mentorship, city-wide notoriety, and access to a larger network of potential partners and collaborators.
The Eats Fellowship will also include membership to The Gathering Spot, special programming, access to potential funding, and more.
