~ Carl Jung
Connections
have the power to transform our lives, businesses, and communities
At The Gathering Spot these relationships are also our currency. For the first time ever, every connection you make at TGS with a fellow member can monetarily support a business or cause within our membership network. The only way forward is together and we need your participation to make this happen.
Each logged connection will contribute $1 to our We All We Got fund benefiting the community. Your participation not only grants you a new connection but also rewards you with Connection Credits that can be redeemed in our restaurants or at the TGS Merch store.
how to
get started
01/ Become a member
These connections are an exclusive benefit to our member community. Members have the opportunity to make valuable connections, contribute to our community fund, and earn rewards like food and beverage credits or exclusive TGS merchandise. If you are not a member you can request a membership below.
“I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do. And by the grace of God, I will.”
~ Edward Everett Hale
02/ log your connections
Log Your Member Connections, Old or New: Did you meet a valuable member connection at TGS? Let us know! Share who you met and a little bit about your connection to count towards our goal and contribute to the We All We Got Fund.
03/ connect for a cause
Our membership team is ready to connect you with our AI platform, which matches you based on your interests and needs. We also host members-only programs and events to help you make meaningful connections. We will continue to do our part by thoughtfully programming more experiences for you to connect and get to know one another.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
~ African Proverb
04/ redeem rewards
Log 10 connections and redeem your Connection Credits for $50 credit on TGS Merch or food and beverage at our restaurants.
We all we got
To help Black Businesses at the onset of the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, The Gathering Spot created the “We All We Got” fund to provide $100,000 of funding to entrepreneurs in need. With your help, we will continue this effort monthly through a community voting process. 1 Connection = $1. The more connections you make, the more funds will be unlocked. All active members are eligible to benefit from the fund.
