Our 4-year anniversary party was supposed to be on March 14th. It was going to be a pretty big moment for us as a business, and we’d planned so much to go into it. Lucky Daye was going to perform.

Like 1,000 people were coming to this party, and we canceled. It was basically that weekend where everything started to hit the fan.

On that Monday (March 16) we went into a full shutdown. We had to pivot. If we’re closing the club, what does that mean? That shifts so many things. Honestly, you’re so busy trying to figure out what 100 percent digital community-building means that you don’t have time to be gloomy.

In this time of need, how can we be helpful? We’ve been focusing on that. What can we give to the members? What content do they need to know?
