The Opportunity

The Gathering Spot is seeking a Regional General Manager to lead its home market.

Atlanta is where TGS began. It is the club that proved the idea — that if you build a room where entrepreneurs, executives, creatives and civic leaders genuinely want to be, community follows. Retreat, our private rooftop club in West Midtown, is the more refined expression of that same conviction: intimate, elevated, built for leaders who want high-end hospitality and relationships that matter.

Together, these two clubs are the operational and cultural heart of The Gathering Spot. What happens in Atlanta sets the standard the rest of the company follows.

This is the senior leadership seat in that market. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and supported by an Assistant General Manager at each club, the Regional General Manager owns both properties — and with them, the definition of what a TGS experience is.

It is an unusual seat: a proven flagship and a maturing luxury concept, in one market, under one operator. Whoever takes it will not inherit a finished product. They will inherit a strong foundation and the mandate to build on it.

The Mandate

The Regional General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and standard of TGS Atlanta and Retreat. This leader will translate the vision of The Gathering Spot into an exceptional and consistent member experience across two distinct concepts, while ensuring both perform as businesses.

The Candidate

We are looking for a experienced and highly relational leader who combines hospitality instinct with disciplined execution.

The strongest candidates will bring significant multi-unit leadership experience, ideally within hospitality, membership clubs, or another experience-driven business. They will understand P&L ownership, team development and operational excellence — while also possessing the presence and relationship-building ability required to lead a community like TGS.

This leader understands that at a premium club, operations is the brand. They can hold a high standard without making a team feel surveilled. They lead from the floor. And they are suited to an owner-led business, where autonomy and accountability arrive together.

Deep connections to Atlanta and an authentic understanding of the city are especially important.
